recently read a couple of blogs and got inspired to add another addition to my own. Nothing real heavy to discuss as life goes on. A recent release motivated me to another mode of thought. A confidence of some sort has come over me, with its intensity i have decided to re invent the emcee. Anticipating the release of future projects i grip the steering wheel of destiny and put the pedal to the floor. Hope you are along for the ride......-s.habIB

it was a cloudy Sunday morning when i left the bricks. while the masses slept preparing for the last day before the grind, i decided to make the 1300 mile trip to New Orleans. True it was Mardi Gras time but we had other things on our mind. the flight was bumpy, moreso than i had hoped. i tried to ignore the turbulance and blasted a crisp new mastered version of the album starklove sent the night before. before i knew it we were making the final approch to MSY. as usual elespee met me at the airport with a tightly rolled L of crescent cities finest kush and we rode off, i cracked the window and took a deep breath. i was here and ready to get to work , but not without a stop at a local eatery, i had the fish tacos. once again we were off to meet with desitiny, today her name was traffic. the re scheduled parades from the day before were reaking havoc. we felt tapped in a small vacinity of the city as we tried to meet prospek at the studio for the days recordings. defeated hope running low we received a call from a cousin from Dallas who was in town. He wanted us to stop by and kick it, eat and he had a fistfull of D town haze..so over the huey p we went headed to the west bank. with the day winding down and traffic light, we finally set course to the studio. prospek in his usual position ready to get busy, he passes me the L and before i know it "the cosmic man " was born. the dusty sample reminded me of an old wu joint i had to come hard outta respect, besides elespee had set the bar pretty high. satisfied, high and exhausted we made our way back to elspee's crib and took it down, day one complete.....
